Cersei also hates Margaery because she’s trying to manipulate Joffrey. ![]() ![]() Once he marries Margaery, all of Cersei’s power will go straight to the new queen, and that part of the prophecy will be fulfilled. She’s very suspicious of Margaery and sees everything she does as an attempt to take the throne (and she’s right about that). Everybody loves Margaery and she’s said to be one of the most beautiful women in Westeros, so naturally Cersei thinks that she must be the younger and more beautiful queen foretold in the prophecy. This is one of the main reasons why Cersei hates Margaery so much. The fortune teller told Cersei that a younger and more beautiful queen would overthrow her. Sorry for the long wait!
